About Henry

Before you can achieve big things, you have to get the basics done right. 


You also need to return phone calls.


A life-long Kansas Citian, Henry is ready to be effective from the first day, having been a former Missouri State Representative and Chairman of the Jackson County Legislature.


Henry and his wife Silvia have two sons, John, a current Missouri State Senator and Tony, who works as a local public servant.

Proven history of working for you

Midtown

As a Missouri State Rep Henry passed legislation that  assisted  City Councilman Jim Glover in establishing the Midtown Plan that created the development of the midtown Home Depot/Costco development.

Downtown/Rivermarket

Henry and Silvia have lived in historic Columbus Park for many years. If elected Henry will be the first native Northeast resident elected in over 40 years. He understands the special needs of this historic, vibrant and diverse area.

Missouri Homestead Act

Henry wrote the legislation that created the Missouri Homestead Act that helps seniors stay in their homes by assisting with real estate property tax payment assistance program.

Northland Advocate

Henry has deep ties in the Northland and has been a long-time advocate for residents north of the river. His grandchildren are currently attending school in the Northland.

Department of Aging

Henry was instrumental in the creation of the Department of Aging which is now DHSS

Common Sense Law Enforcement Legislation

Neighborhood safety is a primary concern and an emphasis on community policing and working in partnership with law enforcement will be one of Henry's priorities.
